The last few years breeders have made all kinds of new colors of coneflowers available to homeowners. Green Envy raises the bar in coloring. The petals are lime-green and have rosy-magenta accents. The cone is deep green. Coneflowers are among the easiest of all perennials to grow. They love full sun and bloom from summer until fall. Extremely hardy plants are a must in butterfly gardens. Flowers work well for cutting or for drying. Prefer well-drained soil. Grow 30" tall with a 15" spread. Zones 4-9.
