This dashing climber makes a distinctive addition to the rose garden. The Climbing Rhode Rose grows fast, and is an exuberant all-summer bloomer. It produces big, double, hybrid tea roses with bright fluorescent overtones. It has fragrant clusters of 5 1/2" velvety red blooms set amidst rich, glossy, dark green foliage. The Climbing Rhode Rose blooms continuously from early June to frost. A fast climber, it scampers up walls and trellises in gay abandon. Rhode Island Red Roses are arctic hardy, can withstand winter blasts to -15° below zero without protection. Won't fade in sizzling summer heat. Virtually carefree. Resistant too most common rose diseases, especially black spot. These are top-grade, selected 2-year-old plants.
